Rebecca “Beccie” Michael
Executive Director
(831) 655-5506

Beccie Michael has worked in community college resource development since 2005, beginning with grant writing and later expanding into the field of philanthropy. Beccie is responsible for implementing the strategic vision of the MPC Foundation’s Board, overseeing the organization’s finances, and empowering staff to produce their best work. She particularly enjoys being a part of the life changing moments that happen every day at the college. In her free time, Beccie can be found riding bikes with her three sons, competing in triathlons and obstacle races, or otherwise enjoying one of the many outdoors activities that Monterey County has to offer.

Gina Bianchi
Director of Development
(831) 646-4086

Gina Bianchi came to the MPC Foundation in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Fresno State. Gina is passionate about providing every student with the opportunity to enrich their lives and create a better future through the power of education.

Gina is a great point of contact if you would like information on the MPC scholarship program, Faculty & Staff Advancement Grants, or the Evening of Opportunity Gala. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, eating new and interesting foods, and spending time with her three daughters.

Lisa Granger
Executive Assistant
(831) 646-4120

Lisa helps keep our office operating smoothly and always has a smile on her face while doing so! Lisa shares, “I graduated from MPC in Spring 2015, and am now taking my prerequisites to transfer to CSUMB.  Working at the Foundation has helped me to pay for school and has given me an appreciation for how much the Foundation and our local community support MPC.  It has been a privilege to attend MPC and to work at the Foundation.”

Karen Max Kelly
Accounting Manager
(831) 646-4860

Karen’s role involves managing all aspects of our accounting functions and financial reporting. She tells us, “Helping MPC students kick-start their education is a great thing to be involved in every working day.  My favorite part of my job as the Foundation’s accountant is printing award checks for all those fabulous students who receive MPC Foundation Scholarships each semester!”

Gerardo Olivares
Data and Digital Communications Manager
(831) 646-4057

Gerardo Olivares began working for the MPC Foundation in the role of Development Coordinator back in May of 2016. He is now our Data and Digital Communication Manager. He enjoys helping others with their educational goals, creating life changing opportunities, and participating in the professional development of new students. He is a United States Coast Guard Veteran and an active volunteer in our community.

Gerardo’s experience with data entry, educational outreach programs, and studio arts is a great addition to the MPC Foundation. He believes that having the opportunity to capture a moment (in many formats) is a lot more enjoyable when you share it. He spends his spare time adventuring with his wife and son, photographing and recording people and places, making music, and playing soccer.
