Home Foundation MenuWhere to Give
Where Needed Most |
Allows us the greatest flexibility in meeting the needs of MPC students.
MPC President's Circle |
As MPC's most prestigious giving society, the MPC President’s Circle celebrates the leadership of donors who contribute $1,000 or more in unrestricted funds each calendar year.
Membership in the MPC President’s Circle makes an immediate impact on the student experience and is renewable annually.
President’s Circle members enjoy a close affiliation with the College, and are invited to participate in a number of campus traditions and events, including behind-the-scenes experiences created specifically for the MPC President’s Circle.
Gifts to the MPC President’s Circle are investments that the Foundation leverages to provide:
• Scholarships for hard-working students in need
• The chance for faculty member and students to attend or present at professional conferences
• The opportunity for students to pursue internships or special projects in their area of interest
• Textbook and instructional supplies that students could not otherwise afford
• Renowned guest speakers on the MPC campus
Business Partners |
The MPC Foundation’s Business Partners make direct investments in local college students. An annual investment offers year-round promotional benefits, including recognition in printed and electronic communications (including the MPC Class Schedule), at multiple events, through social media, and in the Foundation’s television and radio commercials.

Scholarships |
The diverse communities we serve trust Monterey Peninsula College to educate their most precious resource: people. Through the generous gifts entrusted to us, the Foundation provides over 300 scholarships annually to MPC students and incoming high school graduates through a combination of endowed, named, and unrestricted gifts.
The most valuable gift you can give is the gift of an education. Your investment in student assistance programs opens up avenues to higher education that are out of reach for many individuals throughout our community, and lets our students know that you believe in them.
We respect the fact that you are the donor. You decide where you want your funds to help. We welcome the opportunity to work with you.
MPC Internship Endowment
Securing Employment for Graduates While Meeting Local Business Needs: MPC Internship Endowment
Internships help students clarify their career goals, gain valuable experience, develop skills and professional networks, and ultimately lead to improved employment prospects. Many nonprofits and small businesses in Monterey County cannot afford to pay interns, leading to untapped opportunities, particularly for lower-income students, and the organizations who miss out on hosting interns.
College Incentive Program |
In spring 2015, the Monterey Peninsula College Foundation launched a new and exciting program for disadvantaged youth – the Howard & Karin Evans College Incentive Program. Area high schools, continuation/alternative schools, and a number of non-profit organizations were invited to nominate students to participate in this life-changing program. Nominees must have financial need and face a number of challenges in their lives that are likely to prevent them from attending or completing college.
