Call for Nominations to the Evans College Incentive Program

High school teachers, counselors, and youth-service professionals are encouraged to submit nominations for students to participate in the Monterey Peninsula College Foundation’s innovative Evans College Incentive Program. This unique opportunity provides wrap-around support and significant financial assistance to “at-promise” high school seniors who otherwise may not be able to attend college.

Nomination forms are available at mpcfoundation.org/evans and must be submitted before February 25, 2022. There is no limit to the number of nominations a school, teacher, counselor, or youth-service organization may submit. 

The Foundation will accept 45-50 new students this year, each of whom will receive $4,500, in addition to MPC’s other financial assistance programs.

“We believe all young people have the potential to succeed with the right support,” explains Beccie Michael, MPC Foundation Executive Director & MPC Vice President of Advancement. “In particular, we’re looking for those students who might otherwise fall through the cracks.”
