Honor Grants

Honor Grants are designed for students pursuing critical workforce careers who plan to enter the workforce immediately after completing their program. Currently, Honor Grants are available for Nursing, Fire Technology, and Emergency Medical Services students. 

Grants are repayable at 0% interest beginning one year after graduation on a monthly basis, and all repayments are considered charitable donations.

Students may apply for up to $10,000 per academic year. Funds will be provided directly to grantees prior to the start of each term for which they are awarded, and may be used for any expense associated with successfully completing the program of study - including but not limited to tuition, fees, housing, childcare, transportation, etc. 

The Application Process Involves:

1. Completing this application

2. Completing a free online Financial Literacy course

3. Interviewing with the selection committee, if invited

4. A financial consultation to ensure a manageable repayment plan based on the intended award amount.

5. Signing a pledge agreement committing to making monthly repayments one year after graduating from MPC.

Applications will open in April 2026 to all students enrolled in or on the wait list for the Nursing, Fire, and EMT Programs. Check back soon!
